You should have completed all required New Student steps before Welcome Week begins. The Welcome Week schedule will be emailed to you and displayed on your canvas orientation course. Welcome Week has scheduled events for you to attend before the first day of classes. Example sessions:

All programs require multiple Orientation sessions during Welcome Week. You should complete all New Student steps and access the online orientation in the weeks before Welcome Week begins. Scheduled activities will include late testing and registration, informational sessions, campus tours, a resource fair, and more. You should be registered for classes by the end of Welcome Week.

Location: Orientation will be in-person at the ILLC building on the Corvallis OSU campus.

Welcome Week is the week before the first day of classes. You should plan on arriving at least one day before the start of Welcome Week (refer to your program date in the details section above). This is a time to complete requirements, meet staff and other students, and acquaint yourself with campus.

INTO OSU is hosting a free resource fair at the start of Winter International Student Orientation. Located in the Student Experience Center (SEC) Plaza, the fair will be an opportunity to introduce students to OSU clubs and organizations, local non-profits and groups, as well as vendors committed to helping new international students thrive in the US.
