Volunteer to engage with your international student peers!

Help them learn about life at OSU and your culture while you learn about theirs. The INTO OSU Cultural Ambassador Conversant Program (CACP) matches our Cultural Ambassador Conversant Volunteers with one or two international students for the term.

Volunteers meet with their partner(s) for at least one hour a week, and where they meet, what they talk about, and what activities they do is up to them! CACP provides some suggested activities and conversation topics week-by-week based on a theme and community events happening, but these are optional.

This is a great way to internationalize your education at OSU and gain cultural diversity experience here on campus. Cultural Ambassador groups aim to explore our campus and participate in meaningful conversations that help international students practice their English skills and feel a greater sense of connection with the OSU and Corvallis community.

  • This program is a 1-term, 7-week commitment for 1 hour a week
  • Structured, flexible, fun
  • Make new, life-long connections with people from around the globe
  • Available for course credit from the Honors College
