To check your holds

  1. From any computer, go to myOSU
  2. Enter your ONID username and your password and click Login
  3. Click on the Student tab at the top of the page
  4. Under My Student Stuff, click View Holds

There is a phone number next to your hold - call this number to learn more about why the hold is there.

Please note: All INTO students will have an NR hold on your account. This is normal and does not require action.

Academic English Students

Academic English students have multiple opportunities to register for the next term. Before you plan your vacation or buy any plane tickets, it is a good idea to speak with an Academic Support Advisor to learn what your options are.

You only need to go to Registration once, unless you receive an email asking you to come register again.

Early Registration

Early Registration is available to students who take care of their holds quickly. Be sure to check your holds regularly!

Early Registration Eligibility Requirements
  1. Plan to take Academic English in the term you want to register for. If you think you will progress to your Pathway program, you cannot register early.
  2. Have no active holds on your student account.

Priority Registration is available to all Academic English students. It takes place on Thursday of Week 11, and is usually in the afternoon.

Final Registration is the last day for Academic English students to register without a late fee.
